After calling the number listed I was transfered three times and given a "non-working" number with the county. The state really needs to step in and fix the sorry excuse of a county. A little advice, if you are planning on opening a business in this county run! RUN RUN.
I have lived in Butler county for basically my entire life. Paid my taxes, my bills, for a long long time. I come home from work on Friday night to find out that my water has been disconnected. My kids are grown and gone and I'm in good health so it's an inconvenience only. Do they do this to everyone? With no contact other than a mailed bill? I imagine some people may have it worse and this type of policy could cause some real problems. We did miss a payment and today, Friday is when it was due again. Friday evening, no water. This is a bad policy. Very disappointed with the Butler County Water and Sewer Department.
1 star is a star too many!
My 2nd kid was born and paying the water bill on time like I have done for years slipped my mind. I was less than 2 months overdue, and without any phone or email advance notice, my water was turned off. I had to leave work to deal with the issue and was charged 40 dollars. When I called about the fee, the worker claimed that I was 3 months overdue when my billing statements clearly show that I was less than 2 months overdue. This is unacceptable.
